On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
