Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Fife

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Fife, Scotland. On a typical shift you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £1,900 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
