Long-haul driver — Houston County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Houston County, Georgia. The job is at a haulage company. On a typical shift you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid digital tachograph card At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided.
