Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Langlade County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy press shop. On the job you will handle: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
