Cnc turning machinist • Owsley County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Owsley County, Kentucky. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Write and edit G-code programs at the control What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 2+ years on the tools preferred.
