Despatch rider • East Lothian, Scotland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a despatch rider in East Lothian, Scotland. You will be based on the city delivery routes. Requirements: • Honest handling of cash-on-delivery money • Good knowledge of local roads and areas • Smartphone with internet for the delivery app On the job you will handle: • Pick up parcels from the hub and sort them by delivery area • Scan each package barcode on the handheld device before loading • Carry the vehicle papers (RC, insurance, licence) on every run • Call customers for directions or to retry a missed delivery • Take the customer's OTP or signature at handover At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer £120 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
