Gtaw welder wanted in Putnam County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Putnam County, Ohio. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight You will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring).
