Great opportunity: production welder (Kano State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Ajingi, Kano State. You will work on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
