Urgent requirement: vertical milling machine operator (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Anderson County, Kansas. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
