We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe fitter in Clay County, Kansas. The job is in the maintenance team of a facilities company. Ideal candidate: • Own a basic set of plumbing hand tools • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems • ITI certificate in plumbing or fitter trade where applicable Your main tasks: • Read plumbing layouts and mark pipe routes on site • Cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections • Install geysers, water heaters and booster pumps • Detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework • Carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs Six days a week, one day off.
