Refrigeration service engineer • Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs The role involves: • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves Six days a week, one day off.
