Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Day to day you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
