Brickwork mason wanted in Blair County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Blair County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
