Gas meter installer wanted in Copiah County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Copiah County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Day to day you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders We offer $250 per day plus benefits.
