Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
