The role involves straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection. You should have: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
