Stainless steel welder — Delaware County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Delaware County, Indiana. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Overtime paid at a premium rate.
