Great opportunity: garment machinist (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Tarrant County, Texas. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
