Refrigeration service engineer — Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. What we are looking for: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Day-to-day duties: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
