Now hiring: roofing foreman (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofing foreman in Shetland Islands, Scotland. You will work on commercial flat-roof projects. Ideal candidate: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Day-to-day duties: • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
