Now hiring: paint booth operator (New York)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Wayne County, New York. You will work in a busy paint shop. Your main tasks: • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
