Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Calaveras County, California. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. On a typical shift you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Requirements: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
