Stitching operator wanted in Damaturu

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Damaturu, Yobe State. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. On a typical shift you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
