Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Fort Bend County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through 4+ years on the tools preferred.
