Shuttering fixer • Hancock County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Hancock County, Mississippi. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork You will assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
