Steel erection rigger wanted in Oturkpo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Oturkpo, Benue State. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₦170,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
