The role involves: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Service split AC units and VRF systems You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
