Now hiring: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Robertson County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane On a typical shift you will seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
