Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Madison County, Indiana. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
