Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Gonzales County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Gonzales County, Texas. You will be based in a residential tower block. The role involves install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
