Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Brown County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy press shop. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
