We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Harrison County, Mississippi. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
