Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in North Slope Borough, Alaska. On a typical shift you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
