Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Uvwie, Delta State. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. The role involves: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
