Your main tasks: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains You should have: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish Full-time, day shift.
