Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise The role involves: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
