Hoist operator • Republic County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Republic County, Kansas. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits 1+ years on the tools preferred.
