Concrete pump mate wanted in Bureau County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Bureau County, Illinois. The role involves load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Part-time with flexible hours.
