Now hiring: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Rowan County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Your main tasks: • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
