Gas service engineer wanted in Gregory County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Gregory County, South Dakota. The job is in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Six days a week, one day off.
