Reinforcement fitter — Clay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Clay County, Florida. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
