Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Union County, New Mexico. The role involves: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Rotating shifts.
