Elevator repair technician wanted in Darlington

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Darlington, England. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around £145 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
