Powder coater — North Tyneside

Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coater in North Tyneside, England. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Day-to-day duties: • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape Rotating shifts.
