Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts Overtime paid at a premium rate.
