Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Santa Rosa County, Florida. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Your main tasks: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work 1+ years on the tools preferred.
