Presser — Coahoma County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Coahoma County, Mississippi. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day to day you will give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
