Great opportunity: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Washington County, Georgia. Requirements: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline On a typical shift you will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster.
