Safety marshal • Knox County, Maine

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in Knox County, Maine. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions On the job you will handle: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
