Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Gubio, Borno State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₦70,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
